Educational Groups
Public and private school teachers, scout leaders, child care centers, camps and educators know that Zoo Atlanta is the best place in town for unique, entertaining educational experiences. Bring your group to Zoo Atlanta for a Self-Guided Field Experience to explore the Zoo on your own, or enjoy an education program, including Guided Tours, NightCrawler overnights and a variety of other daytime programs.

Group Tickets
Family reunions, corporate outings, church groups and any other organized group of over 15 can qualify for reduced group admission rates. Groups must consist of 15 or more paying guests. Group pricing is available at the front gate or online. The group is required to enter together.

Zoo Atlanta's Group Ticket Program is a non refundable purchase. Group tickets are valid for one year from date of purchase, rain or shine. Management assumes no liability for lost or stolen tickets. No refunds on any unused tickets or cancellation. All sales final.

Group Sales FAQ’s
How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased at the front gate on day of entry or online. The entire group must pay and enter together in order to receive the group discount.
Will I receive the group rate if I purchase online?
Yes, the group rate is available for groups of 15 or more paying guests.
How far in advance can I purchase tickets for a group?
Group tickets may be purchased up to one year in advance of your visit.
When do I pay for my tickets?
When purchasing tickets online, tickets must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
How do I receive my tickets?
When you purchase your tickets online, you will not receive tickets. Simply bring your confirmation letter, which you will receive via email, with you to present at the front gate.
What happens if I miss my reservation due to inclement weather?
Tickets are valid for the reserved date only for one year from the date of purchase. Zoo Atlanta is open every day of the year except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
What if I have more people in my group than I did when I made my reservation?
Additional attendees on the day of your visit will be required to pay at the front gate and will receive the group rate.
Are unused tickets refundable?
Zoo Atlanta’s Group Ticket Program is a non-refundable purchase. Group tickets are valid for the date of the reservation, rain or shine one year from the date of purchase. Management assumes no liability for lost or stolen tickets. Tickets will not be replaced nor will a refund be allowed.
Can I bring food/drinks into the Zoo?
You may bring food and beverage into the Zoo as long as it is not in a glass container. No straws or plastic lids will be allowed past the front gate.

Does my ticket include the train, carousel and/or rock climber?
No, however you may purchase rides tickets at the front gate or the rides ticket booth. Ride availability is dependent upon weather conditions.
Is there bus parking at Zoo Atlanta?
Yes, we have a drop off location for groups. Motor coaches may be staged at one of two locations; either in our Boulevard Parking Lot or on Cherokee Avenue in front of the Zoo. Please obey posted parking restrictions and do not block driveways, side streets or gates. PARKING IS FREE
Is there someplace inside the Zoo to eat while we are there?
Yes, we have several outlets including Nathan’s Hot Dogs, Willie B.’s, Otterly Cool, Flamingo Joe’s and Wild Planet Café.
