From unique staff development courses to Natural World Activity Boxes, Zoo Atlanta helps teachers integrate conservation into the classroom.
Educator Loan Boxes
Free to educators for a two-week loan, Zoo Atlanta’s Educator Loan Boxes include lessons, activities and animal artifacts appropriate for all ages. Select from the following topics: Biodiversity, Wetlands, Endangered Species and Habitat Destruction. Please note that Educator Loan Boxes cannot be mailed, due to federal regulations on endangered species artifacts. To request to pick up a box from the zoo, email the preferred box topic and dates of loan at least two weeks in advance to education@zooatlanta.org.
