Atlanta’s wildest wine cellar opens with a brand-new over-21 event on October 8

Zoo Atlanta comes uncorked as Atlanta’s wildest wine cellar welcomes guests to an all-new adult event, Sippin’ Safari presented by Georgia Natural Gas, on Saturday, October 8. Tickets are officially on sale now on zooatlanta.org.

The event will feature sampling of fine wines, evening animal viewing, live music and more for guests 21 and up. Headline band The Regulars will be joined by Gritz and Jelly Butter, Alex Guthrie, Jules and the Gents and DJ Ryan Baker on stages throughout the Zoo.

“We want everyone to have a reason to come enjoy the Zoo. You don’t have to be a kid or have children to enjoy Zoo Atlanta,” said Raymond B. King, President and CEO. “Sippin’ Safari joins Brew at the Zoo, Art Gone Wild, Boo at the Zoo and many other signature events that offer people unique and inspiring ways to appreciate spectacular wildlife in a gorgeous park setting surrounded by beautiful botanicals. There’s no age bracket to the Zoo experience, or to the mission of conservation we’re here to promote in people of all ages.”

Wine enthusiasts will also enjoy an Artists’ Market highlighting animal-inspired works by local artists. Food pairing tickets will be available for purchase in addition to the unlimited wine sampling included in event admission.

General admission tickets are $65 for non-Zoo Atlanta Members. Zoo Members enjoy a discounted rate of $55 through September 11.

Event times are 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Visit zooatlanta.org for tickets and full details. Attendees must be age 21 or older; guests under 21 will not be admitted.
