Global Tiger Day
Tuesday, July 29, 2014
In just 100 years, the wild tiger population has plummeted from 100,000 individuals to only around 3,200. In 2010, concerned conservationists around the world turned their focus on their plight by declaring the first Global Tiger Day. Join us on Tuesday, July 29, as we celebrate these majestic big cats and share the ways we can help save them from extinction.
Show your stripes to support tiger conservation! Highlights will include crafts, informational graphics, and tiger training demos starring our own feline ambassadors. Activities will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
FREE with general admission; check your Zoo map for activity times and locations.
