New Zoo adventures and amenities will be available via smartphone this spring
Spring makes its debut with the launch of exciting new visitor opportunities at Zoo Atlanta. Beginning April 7, 2014, exclusive a la carte experiences and conveniences will be at guests’ fingertips with just a few clicks on a smartphone with the all-new VIP Pass. The mobile upgrade platform was designed by fan experience technology company, Experience (expapp.com).
For the first time, Android and iPhone users will be able to personalize their Zoo visit by adding special tours, behind-the-scenes encounters or amenity reservations from their handheld devices. VIP Pass options will include Elephant and Lemur Wild Encounters; advance stroller or scooter reservations; lunch with a Zoo Atlanta All-Star; or a pre-paid Plush to Go from the Zoo Atlanta Trading Company Gift Shop. Two more options, a personal guided tour and the Skulls and Bones Galore Tour, will be available beginning April 14. Opportunities will vary daily and are likely to expand over time.
