Special encounters, Zoo Membership discounts and more at “Joan’s Ark in the Atrium”
Animals from Zoo Atlanta will serve as honored guests on Friday, June 15, when the local wildlife boards the ZooMobile for a trip to the Fulton County Government Center. Mammals and reptiles will be on hand for up-close-and-personal encounters during “Joan’s Ark in the Atrium,” presented by Fulton County Commissioner Joan P. Garner, District 6.
Members of the community are encouraged to join Commissioner Garner in the Fulton County Government Center Atrium for special activities geared toward engaging residents of Fulton County in the mission, animals and programs of Zoo Atlanta. Additional highlights will include educational biofacts and a presentation by the Zoo Atlanta Green Team.
As an added incentive, attendees will also enjoy $10 off purchase of a Zoo Atlanta Membership, as well as a chance to enter a raffle for a family four-pack of general admission tickets to Zoo Atlanta. There is no charge to attend the event; activities run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
