The Zoo opens early on April 6 for families with children or individuals affected by autism
Zoo Atlanta is proud to partner with Autism Speaks on Zoos Go Blue, a day designed in support of Autism Awareness Month, on Sunday, April 6, 2014. The Zoo will open early at 8 a.m. for families with children or individuals affected by autism.
In addition to early admission, activities will focus on color, shape and sensory exploration; two quiet zones will also be provided. Volunteers from Georgia Autism Speaks will be on hand to answer questions and assist visiting families. Zoo Atlanta will open to the public as usual at 9:30 a.m. For more on tickets and a social story, visit www.zooatlanta.org.
