Mommy and Me (ages 2-3 years)
Join us for a program exclusively for 2 to-3-year-olds and their favorite grownups! This exciting, hands-on program allows you both to explore different toddler-friendly concepts all about animals. A three-week series program and one-day options are available. All topics and activities are designed specifically for the developmental needs of 2 and 3-year-olds.
Each session includes:
- a guided walk through part of the Zoo to see animals
- an up-close encounter with an education animal
- play-time at discovery stations featuring crafts, story time, and other great activities

Series Topics

September: Australian Adventure – G’Day Mates! Join us on an adventure to find out about our unique animal friends from the land down under.

October: Creature Quarters – Some animals live high in the trees while some live underground. Explore different creature quarters and discover where your favorite animals live.
Program Information
- Time: 10:30-11:30 a.m. on three consecutive Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
- Cost: $45 for Members for one adult/child pair ($22.50 per person); $105 for Non-Members for one adult/child pair ($52.50 per person)
- An adult must accompany children.
- Payment in full is required at time of reservation; reservations and payment required 1 week in advance of program date.
- Family Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum number of participants is not met.

One-Day Mommy and Me
Love Mommy and Me but can’t commit? These are the programs for you! The same great Mommy and Me programs are now available in one-day classes. Choose 1, 2 or all 3 each month. One-day classes occur on Thursdays and Saturdays. Please note: the same topics will be covered in the one-day sessions and the 3-week series.
One-Day Topics
- September 16 & 18: Marsupials – Find out more about the pouched animals from down under.
- September 23 & 25: Australian Birds – Encounter some of the amazing birds that call Australia home.
- October 7 & 9: On the Ground – Discover various homes of animals that live on the ground.
- October 14 & 16: In the Trees – See how animals make their homes in the trees.
- October 21 & 23: Underground – Explore life underground to learn about burrowing animals.
Program Information
