School and Group Programs

Class Fundraiser for Zoo Atlanta’s Giant Pandas!

Engage your students in giving back to an important cause – get them excited about the Give So They Stay campaign to keep giant pandas in Atlanta. Students work hard every year to raise money for special projects – this year, let it be pandas!

Field Trips

This isn’t just any field trip; a day at Zoo Atlanta is a fun and educational experience like no other! Explore the Zoo on your own using new Field Experience Guides created by expert teachers.

Tours

Guides lead your group and share fun facts and stories about our animals. A Zoo Tour is a good way to navigate the Zoo in a limited time period, and a Behind-the-Scenes Tour gives students a fun, exclusive educational experience.

ZooMobile Outreach

Let the Zoo come to YOU! A trained educator presents an exciting program using live animals, biofacts like bones and fun activities to your students. This popular program gives your students a connection to animals and conservation without ever leaving the classroom!

Group NightCrawler Overnights

Students never forget these unique overnight programs. NightCrawlers feature themed activities, behind-the-scenes experiences and up-close encounters with animals. Sleep in climate-controlled facilities, enjoy a continental breakfast and take a guided tour of Zoo Atlanta.

Scouts

Thousands of Scouts visit Zoo Atlanta each year because we share the belief that all children have the power to make the world a better place. From NightCrawler overnights to Girl Scout Days, Zoo Atlanta offers Scouts several opportunities to learn about animals, environmental issues and conservation.

HomeSchoolers

Zoo Atlanta has exciting programs for homeschoolers. Register for one or both today!

College Programs

The Zoo now offers multiple program offerings to supplement the college curriculum at a reduced rate.  College groups can select a Self-guided Field Trip, with the option to add on a lecture by Zoo staff, or a more flexible Student Day Pass.
