NightCrawler Overnights

Zoo Atlanta’s award-winning NightCrawler overnight program is perfect for youth groups, family reunions, birthday parties and more! Your group will never forget this nocturnal adventure packed with themed activities, behind-the-scenes experiences and up-close encounters with animals. Sleep in indoor climate-controlled facilities, enjoy a continental breakfast and take a private guided tour of Zoo Atlanta. Teachers - to find out if this program is right for your class, please review the Program Packet and State standards covered for students prior to registering.

Dates: Monday-Saturday, year-round
Times/duration: 6:00 pm-10:30 am the next day
Reservations/payment: must be made at least 5 weeks in advance;
Fee: $60 per participant; 1 chaperone per 10 students FREE, additional chaperones $60.

  • Minimum group size for NightCrawler programs is 10
  • NightCrawler participants must be at least 6 years old
  • Membership discounts do not apply to Group NightCrawlers
  • All programs come with grade-specific activities to use at the Zoo and both before and after your visit
  • NightCrawlers can accommodate your youth group, Scout troop, adult groups and your family too!


Birthday Party All ages Happy Birthday to you! Come celebrate your birthday with us and have your party at the Zoo! Festivities include activities, tours, a lesson on your favorite animal at Zoo Atlanta and a birthday party celebration. Cake not provided.
Animals in Motion
1st-2nd grade
