Think Green

The Green Team at Zoo Atlanta is a group of staff members and Volunteers that meets monthly to monitor the Zoo’s environmental efforts and maintain a sustainable workplace.

Rethink the word, “disposable.” Think “reusable,” instead.Think about the long-term life of “disposable” items. Where are they being disposed to? What will come of them? Much of what we purchase ends up in landfills, where it may contaminate our ground water and take years to decompose.
