Zoo Atlanta is open 363 days a year, closing only on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. In exceptional cases of inclement weather, the Zoo may be closed or may close early.
Zoo Atlanta is open all winter, and winter can be a great time to visit! When temperatures fall below 40 degrees, many of our tropical species and primates will typically spend all or part of the day indoors.
9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., ticket booths close at 4:30 p.m.
