Although farmers do constitute a major threat against them, red kangaroos are still found in secure populations throughout Australia. Eagles, dingoes and Tasmanian devils prey on red kangaroos, but as those animals are also diminishing in population, they no longer pose as large a threat to the red kangaroo.
