Golden lion tamarin free-ranging
A special site in the Orkin Children's Zoo at Zoo Atlanta offers Zoo-born tamarins a place to free-range like wild tamarins by giving them a place to find food and water, to orient themselves among the thick leaves, and to move among the trees using the aerial rope pathways in a wooded area which has no walls or barriers.
Free-ranging takes place on Fridays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting, through October. More >
