Adam Stone
Assistant Curator of Behavioral Management
Prior to joining Zoo Atlanta as Training and Enrichment Coordinator in 2000, Adam’s zoological career included a decade of experience in enrichment, training, consulting and applied behavioral research. His animal care background features work with elephants, primates, marine mammals and carnivores. Adam now manages the elephant program at Zoo Atlanta, as well as the Zoo’s behavioral enrichment program. His research studies include chimpanzee enrichment and training; elephant management; and functional analysis of aggression in carnivores.
Adam has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Texas.
